Your first visit:
what to expect.
We know visiting a new provider can come with a lot of questions. Our goal is to make the process feel comfortable, straightforward, and centered around you from the very beginning.
Before your appointment
1
When you schedule your visit, we’ll ask you to complete a few important forms and questionnaires. We know paperwork isn’t anyone’s favorite part, but your answers give us valuable information about what you’re experiencing and how it’s affecting your everyday life.
Because different types of appointments require different information, the questionnaires you receive will be specific to your visit. They also help us maintain the thorough documentation required by insurance providers.
Taking a few extra minutes before your appointment helps us spend more of your visit focused on you. Find the forms here.
When you arrive
2
You’ll be welcomed by our front office team, who will make sure we have everything we need, including your completed paperwork and insurance information.
From there, one of our audiology technicians will bring you to a treatment room, review your medical history, and talk with you about the concerns that brought you in.
During your evaluation
3
Your provider will review your history and concerns before beginning any testing. We’ll explain each test, why we’re doing it, and what you can expect along the way.
No mystery tests. No wondering what’s happening. Ask us questions. We want you to understand your care.
Before you leave
4
Once testing is complete, your provider will walk you through your results, explain what they mean for you, and discuss any treatment options or recommended next steps.
We’ll give you our professional recommendations based on current best practices, but the next step is always your decision.
Our job is to give you the information, expertise, and support you need to make the choice that feels right for you.
