I have always maintained that if a person is more interested in a buck than a customer/client/patient, they’ll neither from me.  On the other hand, if a person puts the clients’/patients’ needs first, the bucks generally take care of themselves.  Such a person will get both a customer and a buck out of me!  Enter Christine Pickup, AuD at Mt. I am closely acquainted with a person who has a severe hearing loss.  This person recently approached Dr. Pickup for hearing aid consultation and assistance.  Through thorough examination, testing and a warm, caring consultation, Dr. Pickup determined that a top-of-the-line hearing aid, which she could provide, would not benefit the client enough to be cost-effective.  She instead recommended a different and potentially far more beneficial course of action, which essentially cost Dr. Pickup a very lucrative hearing aid sale.
