Doctor of Audiology
Cortney Mitchell is delighted to join the Mt. Harrison Audiology team. Cortney earned her bachelors degree in communicative disorders from Utah State University and her doctorate degree in audiology from The University of Utah. She specializes in auditory evoked potentials, pediatric and adult diagnostics, as well as pediatric and adult amplification and rehabilitation.
Dr. Mitchell has over 10 years of experience in various audiology healthcare settings. She has a passion for her profession and thrives on helping others find the best ways to improve their quality of life. She recognizes that we are all unique individuals with very unique needs. Dr. Mitchell strives to surpass expectations in meeting the individual hearing care needs of each of her patients.
Dr. Mitchell has a huge appreciation for the field of audiology and how advancements in the world of technology have allowed audiologists to provide levels of care we never would have imagined. She enjoys working hard to stay current with the rapid advancements in her field and is devoted to sharing these advancements and abilities with her patients of all ages and varying needs.
When not working at their main professions, Cortney and her husband are busy raising their 4 young children in addition to raising a small herd of cattle, horses, and alfalfa hay. Cortney loves her horses, competing in rodeo, running, skiing, basketball, piano, snowmobiling, wakeboarding, the mountains, and anything to do with outdoors and adventure. She served a full time 18 month mission for her church in San Bernadino, California. She grew up in Teton Valley, Idaho directly under the beauty of the Grand Tetons. Cortney is a mountain girl at heart. Her husband couldn't move his potato company to the mountains so she is happily here at the base of Mt. Harrison and in the reflection of the Snake River.
