Amie Pool

Patient Care Coordinator

My name is Amie Pool, and I love being a part of the team at Mt. Harrison Audiology. I was recently moved into the position of Office Manager and can’t wait to soar to new heights!  I was born in Oceanside, CA. and soon moved to Paul, Idaho where I have resided since. I am the proud mom of four awesome children and three grandchildren!  My youngest child, who is twelve, has some serious medical conditions which prompted me to become more involved in the medical field.

I graduated from Minico High School in 1994 with dreams of becoming an airline stewardess (never happened)!  I attended college at the College of Southern Idaho where I conquered my general studies and then decided to take a break.  In 2008 after the birth of my youngest child I decided it was time to further my education, I attended University of Phoenix online where I obtained a degree in Business Management.  I recently obtained my certification in Practice Management.

When I am not at work, I love spending time with my parents, kids, and grandkids.  I love the mountains, four-wheeling, camping, hiking, boating, and snowmobiling! If it involves being outside, count me in!

Alex Pool

Executive Assistant

Hello! My name is Alex Pool, and I am the Executive Assistant here at Mt. Harrison Audiology. I joined the team in October of 2019 as an Audiology Technician, but I received a promotion in June to oversee the accounts receivable aspects of the company. In 2014 I began teaching Special Education math courses at Minico High School, which was one of the most amazing experiences I have been granted to endure. After my three years at that profession I went on to become at Customer Service Representative at D.L. Evans Bank, which I also loved. I have always had a knack for numbers, so my time spent at the bank was right up my alley. Going from a math teacher to a customer service representative… how did I end up in an audiology clinic? Well to begin I have a two-year-old son, Liam, who is the light of my life! While working 40 hours a week, I felt as if I was losing time with my son. I knew I needed more time with him, so my mom called and told me about a part-time position opening here at Mt. Harrison Audiology. Oh, did I forget to mention that I also get to work with my mom, Amie, every day! I sent over my application, and I was so excited when they chose to interview me. After my interview, I was intrigued and knew it would fit into my life perfectly because it would give me more time with my sweet Liam. Of course, there were some hesitations at first because I knew this was going to be a huge learning curve for me, but on my very first day everyone welcomed me with open arms. From there the rest is history! Outside of work, I love to be with my family! We are typically found outdoors, regardless of the season, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Kayaking, camping, hiking, swimming, four-wheeler riding, snowmobiling, sledding, etc. You name it, we do it! I have loved every moment thus far into my journey here at Mt. Harrison Audiology!

Vikki Rucker

Patient Care Coordinator

My name is Vikki Rucker. I was born and raised in Aberdeen Idaho. My husband and I moved to Rupert in September of 2017 due to a job transfer. I have 4 wonderful children and 5 adorable grand kids. I love riding horses, spending time with my family and my bulldog PorkChop, fishing, and camping. I also enjoy spending time outdoors hanging out in my yard. When I saw a posting for a job at Mt. Harrison Audiology, I knew that a position at that clinic could be a great fit for me. I felt that way because my family has personal experience with hearing loss. My dad suffered a serious injury in Vietnam that resulted in a lifetime of hearing impairment and tinnitus. I saw how frustrating his hearing loss could be for him. I often became his “translator” and in a sense his ears when he was in situations where he couldn’t decipher what was being said. My mom also deals with hearing loss because, as crazy as it sounds, one day she woke up and was completely deaf in one ear. Her cochlea had unexpectedly stopped working. Unfortunately, she wasn’t a good candidate for a cochlear implant so now has a “deaf side”. As a result, we all know that when we talk to her we make sure we are addressing her hearing ear. I can’t wait to bring the compassion and understanding I’ve gained from my families experience to our patients. I’m so glad I get to be a part of this amazing Rupert community. I’m proud to be a team member at Mt. Harrison Audiology.
